Job Description

To assist in the following :

  • Operational planning for events including
    • Development of site and course operations maps/plans
    • Researching, booking, setup and management of event venues
    • Development and management of timelines
    • Development and implementation of traffic management plans
    • Development and implementation of risk and contingency plans
    • Development and implementation of staff plans
    • Implementations of event operations plans
  • New product development
    • Researching possible courses/venues for new SWW and client events
    • Development and costing of new event concepts
    • Possible regional trips
  • Supplier negotiations
    • Confirming event requirements
    • Obtaining quotations and negotiating prices
    • Managing delivery process
  • Staffing
    • Recruitment of event staff / volunteers
    • Development of event staff training materials
    • Training of event staff/volunteers
  • Administration
    • Updating and forecast of event budgets
    • Proper and accurate administration/paperwork to ensure an effective and efficient event delivery
    • Timely submission of post event reports
