Job Description

Reporting to the Regional Manager – TR, the Travel Retail Assistant supports the Sales Operation & Marketing function in the Travel Retail team through key administrative and coordination responsibilities. 

1. Point-of-sale merchandising

  • Liaise with suppliers and retailers on preparation and production of counter visual changes and POSM.
  • Update lightbox summary calendar.
  • Update merchandising planogram to be disseminated to retailers.

2. Promotion set-up

  • Work with contractors and Marketing Team to prepare promotion drawings, ensuring brand guidelines and retailer’s specifications are incorporated nicely. 
  • Ensure all display props are arranged or produced within budget and on time for the promotion. 
  • Work with retailers to get drawings approval.  
  • Follow-up and check that the promotion setup is done in accordance to the expectation and guidelines.

3. Reports

  • Consolidate from all customers and update monthly master sales reports.
  • Check and ensure accuracy of reports.

4. Administrative duties

  • Filling of documents/forms requested by retailers.
  • Coordinate and send product information for retailer’s digital platform, whenever necessary.
  • Download updates of information from the HQ extranet.
  • Arrange the sending of lab samples, pre-series and colour proof to suppliers, distributors and retailers.
  • Work with Training division to arrange for dissemination of training notes to retailers. 
  • Assist with preparation and dissemination of BA quarterly allowance. 
  • Update BA profile record. 
  • Assist in seminar or events preparation whenever required.
  • Ad-hoc duties assigned, whenever required. 


The successful candidate plays a vital support role to the Travel Retail APAC business, and we seek candidates who: 

- ideally has >1 year of Sales & Marketing support working experience
- Good coordination and communication skills
- Ability to read, speak & write Chinese is a must
- Good working knowledge on IT software (e.g. Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint & Word) and internet savvy
- Responsible, proactive, well-organized, meticulous
- Good planner, able to multi-task and fast worker
- Good team player, enjoy working with people of all levels
