Job Description

We seek capable individuals to take on different internship opportunities for 3 key focus projects as part of the Integrated Supply Chain and Operations team.

3 key focus projects are:

Warehouse Operations and Management

  1. Help to collate current warehouse setup data and propose a setup base on new warehouse provider space allocation
  2. Present the best setup such that operations efficiency and effectiveness is at its best.

Logistics Cost and Allocation Management

  1. Logistics baseline ‘cleaned’ for any erroneous cost allocations

  2. Implementation process to ensure logistics baseline remains ‘clean’

  3. Savings analysis à high impact, easily achievable savings

Health, Safety & Environment Waste Management

  1. Analysis of key factors that are driving organisation's waste output

  2. Help organize and facilitate a waste reduction brainstorm workshop

  3. Present winning idea’s and roadmap to achieve these

All learning opportunities will require:

  • Data collection - collecting the right data from a multitude of stakeholders in- and outside the organisation. Assertiveness a must

  • Data analysis - our logistics costs are complex. We need a strong analytical mind to dive into the numbers and extract the correct data. Excel and problem solving skills are a must

  • Strategic analysis - we need to identify cost cutting opportunities that are easy to implement and impact our bottom-line. 

  • Strategic thinking is a must!
