The main purpose of this role is to support the delivery, implementation and monitoring of effective strategic and tactical marketing plans to engage with ICAEW students.
The role is varied and challenging, where you will provide support on key projects to the Head of Marketing in order for her to achieve the corporate goals and business strategy.
This role will give you the opportunity to:
- Gain experience of working in a varied marketing role, which includes developing social media campaigns, managing new and existing online content, reviewing communication channels, generating success stories and implementing your ideas;
- undertake project work that relates to our strategy and team objectives;
- work collaboratively with teams across different markets and the organization in the UK;
- liaise with various functional teams in the UK;
- Develop a knowledge of the accountancy, business and finance professions in SEA, digital and internal systems.
This internship is based in ICAEW Regional Office in Singapore.
The intern is required to start in Dec 2017 and must be able to commit for at least 5 months.
Main responsibilities of role:
- Support the Head of Marketing to develop, deliver and monitor effective and creative marketing and communications plans for areas of responsibility.
- Develop and deliver tactical plans, as specified by the Head of Marketing, to implement the marketing plan and strategy through the use of a variety of channels to promote resources, support and benefits to ICAEW stakeholders.
- Oversee the social media channels including: review schedule from agency, posting regular and relevant content. monitoring insights, increasing the level of engagement with students and being the main contact with the local agencies.
- Support on developing and delivering relevant content for regular e-newsletters, online/digital advertising campaigns and/or ad-hoc marketing projects and campaigns, assigned by the Head of Marketing.
- Develop and implement member communications via ICAEW internal communication channels such as eDM, website, member alert and through the digital team in the UK.
- Monitor the effectiveness of campaigns and make recommendations for the activity to be ceased, adjusted and trialled. Monitor and review relevant competitor activity.
- Provide administrative support on marketing budget update and expenses.
- Assist in the logistical arrangement and coordination for member and stakeholder events.
- Specific duties will vary from time-to-time in line with the business needs.
