Indexync is an early-stage e-commerce startup built to help small online sellers manage multi-channel selling without the manual chaos. We provide the capabilities for small sellers to sync their products, inventory, orders and promotion across platforms so they can focus on growing their business instead of being overwhelmed by daily operations.
You will work directly with the founders and contribute features to our production codebase. Because we work closely with real merchants, you will see how customer feedback turns into product improvements and how the code you write can improve the experience for sellers using Indexync. You will also get exposure to the practical work involved in running a SaaS product, including testing features, deploying changes, and debugging issues in production. We use AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor when they help us move faster without compromising engineering quality.
About the role
We are looking for an engineering intern who wants to contribute to features that help Indexync grow and improve the experience for merchants. You will work across the stack on backend logic, APIs, integrations, and product interfaces, and see how engineering work turns into improvements that customers use in their day-to-day operations. You will also work with our AI development workflow and help improve how we use these tools to increase productivity and engineering quality.
What you will do
- Use AI development workflows (e.g. Claude Code) to build production systems, and take part in improving how we use these tools to increase productivity and engineering quality.
- Build and improve product features across the stack, including backend logic, APIs, integrations, and user-facing interfaces.
- Work on real marketplace integrations and learn how production systems handle API quirks, edge cases, failures, and constraints.
- Deliver incremental improvements with attention to correctness, readability, maintainability, and delivery speed.
- Investigate issues across development and production environments while learning testing, deployment, logging, and monitoring practices that keep the platform stable and reliable.
