As the company is undergoing a transition from the older guards, there is currently no Marketing Department within the Company and the incoming Intern and team are tasked with the responsibility to kickstart a movement of transforming the Company towards a new Omni-channel of growth via digital means.
In the past, for Logistics companies with a B-to-B coverage, the sole mean of Marketing will be the fleet of vehicles running on the roads by itself. As we move ahead to Internet 2.0, the increasing impacts from digital marketing and social media means the need to move the offline components online and improve awareness.
What you will do:
- Kickstarting and managing the brand's Instagram, Facebook, Twitter & LinkedIn accounts from scratch (or whichever channel deemed appropriate)
- Assist in the social media content creations and management / tracking of online presence data etc.
- Planning and overseeing the execution of social media posts.
- Journalism, research and submit articles online and blogging communities
- Assist the CEO to develop a marketing strategy and the launch of a new department within the business including the sourcing of reliable external partners for the foreseeable future
- Execution of daily marketing duties, daily marketing exercise
- Ensuring the availability of marketing content and content creation for social media including EDMs, Instagram videos and images
- Side projects include professional photoshoot for all Staff and assisting with their online profiling on LinkedIn; organizing yearly corporate photoshoot for next year's marketing content
What you will need:
Keen interest to have ownership of your work and ability to make things happen from scratch and ability to work independently
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbally. It comes natural for you to talk and engage with people.
Passion for helping others succeed take pride in their success
Highly self-motivated and self-driven with the ability to learn fast and think on feet
Outstanding positive attitude and very well-organised
Tech-savvy is an advantage. You might have no experience with technical tools, but you can pick it up as if you own it
Hungry for learning
Be able to commit full-time for 3-6 months
Possible conversion to Full-time role after completion
