HPS Partners Pte Ltd – Financial Analyst Intern

This position is a unique opportunity to develop your critical thinking, finance skills and understanding of the target industry sector, all while being part of a rapidly growing company. As the Financial Analyst Intern, you will provide financial, analytical and organizational support in the evaluation and execution of the company’s business intelligence and planning, which includes analysis of financial/operating results.

Responsibilities

• Assists with evaluation and presentation of financial performance, forecasting, scenario modeling, and sensitivity analysis
• Assists with financial modeling (cost/profitability), competitive analyses (business, financial performance; market positioning, etc.), and other ad hoc modeling to support business strategies and planning
• Supports cross organizational projects by working closely with process owners and various product groups to define business requirements; develops project plans complete with timelines and process flows, leads data analysis efforts, conducts meetings and drives projects to completion

Requirements

• Accounting/Finance/ Marketing major desired
• Proficient in Excel, ability to understand both strategic impact of decisions yet operate at a tactical level 
• Ability to take initiative to solve problems independently
• Strong understanding of financial statements based, financial reporting, and management accounting concepts
• Hands-on experience in statistical and operations modeling techniques, such as regression analysis and simulation techniques, is a plus
