Job Description

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python or Ruby on Rails for backend development.
• Familiarity with TypeScript and frontend frameworks such as React.
• Understanding of PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
• Solid grasp of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals.
• Knowledge of RESTful API design and integration.
• Exposure to or interest in AI/LLM integrations (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic APIs) or AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment.
• Experience in health tech or AI projects is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development, testing, and maintenance of backend logic and APIs.
• Integrate AI/LLM APIs and services into product features where applicable.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, front-end developers, and product managers to align technical solutions with business goals.
• Use AI-assisted coding tools to improve development speed and code quality.
• Optimize front-end code for speed and responsiveness across devices and browsers.
• Participate in design and code reviews to uphold quality and best practices.
• Manage database operations, ensuring performance, scalability, and data integrity.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software solutions.
• Research and propose new technologies — including emerging AI tools — that enhance development efficiency and product performance.
