HomeAway – Market Supply Intern

Role Purpose:

HomeAway in Asia is looking for a Market Supply Intern over the next 3-6 months. You can expect a fast-paced environment that nurtures and challenges, while providing valuable career-building experience and the opportunity to gain broad experience in various aspects of building supply/inventory in a global e-commerce, travel business.

You will learn how to work in a professional environment, with ample opportunity to be exposed to new tools, skills, and different departments across our entire business.

Responsibilities:

- Managing online calendar and listings for hosts from different countries, in order to attain customer satisfaction from both the host and guest.
- Processing data and observing trends that help us adapt our corporate strategy.
- Research on outbound and inbound travel seasons, festivals and major events so that campaigns/ content can be strategically themed.
- Competitor analysis, market research and proposing new segments for growth, especially in Asia, where HomeAway is still a work in progress.
- Generate weekly supply/cancellation reports.
- Assist country managers in prefilling listings in various countries, in order to increase rentals

Qualifications & Experience:

- Ability to think on your feet, implement new strategies and create change
- Strong Proficiency in English (spoken & written)
- Undergraduates, Fresh Graduates, Work Holiday Pass Holders (WHP), Local/International
- Able to commit to a 3-month Internship contract
- Basic data processing skills
