Established in 2016, Hmlet is a tech coliving company. We offer rooms and full apartments for rent in the heart of the city. We are on a mission to simplify housing for people from all around the world relocating to or living in Singapore, Hong Kong and Tokyo.

We have just raised our Series A round of 6M USD and are going through our fastest growth expansion phase so far. We plan to quadruple our membership base in the next few months and can use some help!

About the product: our basic premise is to offer rooms for rent in serviced shared flats - what happens on top of that is Coliving, the special sauce we put together to make every one of our member-tenants enjoy their homes at the fullest

Job Description

We believe it is Hmlet’s responsibility to nurture your personal and career development and are offering the opportunity for you to explore many different roles in this internship. We will develop a program based on your unique competency, passions and values. These will be Community driven initiatives such as Sales, Operations, Business Development, Marketing and Hospitality. We offer a “start-up” environment and open culture where your opinions are welcome and your contributions valued. We operate in the field of hospitality and real estate, a brilliant opportunity to: 

  • Fielding and assigning requests submitted through Salesforce support cloud (we will teach you to use the software, a precious skill to have)
  • Ensuring our buildings are well maintained and clean including handling contractors  
  • Ordering consumables and managing stock
  • Overseeing specific tasks from end-to-end in the buildings we are opening up
  • Liaising with members on specific cases
  • Learn about Hospitality management 
  • Learn about Facilities management 
  • Learn about Customer Experience management 
  • Become proficient with Salesforce 
  • Understand how issues are solved operationally 
  • Talk to customers and manage expectations while delivering the highest level of professionalism
  • Get familiar the environment of a fast growing startup with 8 different nationalities represented 
  • Learn from more our senior staff some having more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality and facilities management

Requirements:

  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Cold outreach experience a plus
  • Understanding and experience managing people
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
  • Demonstrate integrity, dependability, responsibility, accountability, self-awareness, work ethic, and empathy
  • Passion and understanding for entrepreneurial communities

  • Outstanding Written & Verbal English
