The Department

The Singapore Retail Operations team is responsible for the unit trust operations in Asia and covers a range of activities including trade order collation, NAV oversight, and the on-boarding of new clients and distributors. The team also supports the Sales departments in Asia and works closely with distributors, clients and various service providers including transfer agents, accounting and valuation agents, tax agents and auditors.

Overview of the Role

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic student intern to join our Operations department in Singapore.

The successful candidate should possess excellent organisational and communication skills, initiative and a positive attitude. Strong Excel skills and attention to detail are also required. In addition, you should be hardworking and willing to learn.

Technical Skills & Qualifications Required

• University student currently completing your second or final year at a tertiary institution in Singapore

• Fluent in spoken and written English

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• A self-starter and fast learner who is able to multi-task

• Able to build strong working relationships with Henderson colleagues in Pan Asia

Internship Duration: January 2017 to July 2017 (approximately 6 months)

Salary: S$1,500 per month (based on a 5-day work week)

We will also consider students who are able to commit to a 4-day work week.
