The position is for an intern front-end developer who is confident in taking up challenges to work on projects by translating UI/UX wireframes to produce visual elements for the applications. These projects play a crucial role in the operation setup of the company and will be deployed over continents.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new user-facing features based on requirements
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Optimise application for maximum speed and scalability
- Integrating the front-end elements into the backend built by members of your team
- Collaborating with other team members
Requirements:
- Good JavaScript programming skills
- Use of MV* frameworks such as BackboneJS, AngularJS
- Good understanding of web markup, including HTML5. CSS3
- Good understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
- Basic understand of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
- Experience in at least one JavaScript task runners such as Grunt, Gulp, Webpack
- Good eye for detail with pixel perfect accuracy
- Experience in TDD environment and the use of unit testing suites such as Karma, Protractor, Jasmine, Mocha or QUnit is a plus
- Experience in real-time application development using real-time engine such as Socket IO, Pusher is a plus
