Funfit – Junior Fashion Designer

As a Junior Fashion Design, you will assist in designing our upcoming collections and watch it grow from sketch to realization. Your designs in swim or activewear will be sold across Asia. 

Job Scope:

• Design apparels using a computer-aided design (CAD)
• Create moodboards to outline themes and ideas
• Adapt designs for production, in accordance with the brand direction
• Knowledge of swim or activewear fabric and constrution (optional)
• Keep up to date with emerging fashion trends as well as general trends relating to fabrics, colors, prints and shapes
• Explore new concepts through experimenting with inventive design techniques and garment construction
• Work closely with suppliers, drafters, dye & print factor for sample making
• Work closely with production team to ideatify and resolve QC issues related to fabric, contruction and fit issues
• Manage deadlines for production samples for prompt shipments deliveries
• Assist with photoshoots where necessary

Job Requirements:

• Min. Diploma in Fashion Design or related subjects
• Fresh graduates from design school may apply. 
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Any nationality; fluent in English and Mandarin 
• Creative and out-of-the-box thinker
• Great organisational skills and attention to detail
• Collaborative and thrives under pressure
