Job Description

We are looking for organized, team-oriented, enthusiastic, fast-learning and innovative event management interns to join our team.

You’ll be passionate about organizing events and managing communities, and looking for a future career in the event curation/management industry. You’ll already have a university degree, or be well on your way to achieving one. Whilst any event- related experience would be a plus, we don’t expect you to be a event guru on arrival. We do, however, expect you to be eager to learn and willing to get involved in all aspects of our in-house and client work.

Although you will on occasion be carrying out some administrative work, you’ll not be the office gopher – we’re looking for somebody that can add real value to our business. In return, you’ll learn plenty and get first-hand experience in an exciting industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Production and distribution of event promotional materials, entry forms
  • Develop events sponsorship proposals and promotional materials
  • Solicit and obtain sponsors and vendors
  • Coordinate all on-site venue preparations and breakdowns
  • General troubleshooting and problem solving during events
  • Providing an in-depth evaluation and after action report
  • Recruit and manage all necessary team members and volunteers to operate assigned events
  • Ensure that all accounts receivables and accounts payable are completed within one week after events completion
  • Help organize marketing and media events
  • Some general administrative and ad hoc tasks where necessary

We’re looking for people that can commit to a full-time placement of at least 6 months. Any less than this and you really won’t learn enough for it to be worthwhile!
