FLORRAY was founded in 1993 by Mr Raymond and Ms Florence Lim, hence the name of Flor + Ray.  On the back of over 20 years of experience in the cosmetic and fashion industry with Chanel, Mr Lim obtained the distribution rights for Bourjois cosmetics in 1994. 

Florray has also obtained the exclusive distribution for new Korean skin care brand Lapothicell in October 2016, and have recently confirmed the exclusive distribution for no.1 Italian cosmetic brand PUPA in Singapore. 

Florray has distribution across 60 locations in Singapore through leading departmental stores, drug stores and beauty stores, including Fashion & Beauty online retailer ZALORA, Lazada and Qoo10. 

The future includes building on this momentum and increasing the brand collective for Singapore; at the same time, to grow and maintain the current portfolio. 

Job Description

With the launch of new brands into new stores in Singapore, an intern in this position will obtain invaluable experience of the wholesale/retail beauty industry in Singapore.

We are looking for highly creative and those hungry for experience in social media marketing and e-Commerce. Coming from a family company you will learn the ropes of how to implement campaigns from beginning to end. If you love to be surrounded by skincare and make-up and would want to improve your skills for photoshop skill come joing the team!

What You Will Learn

Resume-building experience. Great opportunity to learn about wholesale/distribution beauty business. Be around makeup and skincare all day. Manage social media and digital marketing accounts. Manage PR and new product launches. All in a casual, non-corporate environment.

Job Description

Your responsibilities may include: 

  • Assist the Marketing Manager
  • Assist with advertising and marketing activities, including the creation and implementation of campaigns, creation of content for social media channels, digital and print media
  • Assist in managing social media channels
  • Identify leaders and influencers and engage them in brand activities
  • Assist with copywriting, proofing and updating as needed
  • Effective content marketing for e-Commerce working for brands such as Bourjois, Rimmel, Max Factor, Mediheal and more international brands!
  • Provide competitive research and analysis support
  • Management of e-Commerce store on various platforms and websites such as Lazda, Redmart, Zalora and etc. 
  • Other activities as assigned on the job that can expand the scope of experience beyond marketing

Requirements/Qualifications: 

  • Must have Adobe Photoshop experience.  
  • Ability to take initiative, employ good judgement and manage projects from start to finish.
  • Eye for creativity. Good writing, editing and proofreading skills Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Work effectively both independently and as part of a team. 
  • Understands and can utilize emerging platforms, digital media, and web/social media management and measurement tools. Singaporean / Singapore PR.
