Job Overview:
The Management Trainee (Kitchen Operations and Digitalisation Intern) will assist the kitchen team in food preparation, kitchen management, and workflow optimisation through digital tools. The role provides exposure to back-of-house operations and introduces students to digitalisation in production planning, inventory tracking, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation, including sauces, seasoning, and ingredients under supervision.
- Support kitchen operations at various stations (wet and dry).
- Operate kitchen equipment (e.g., grill, fryer) safely and efficiently.
- Learn and assist with inventory management using digital tools or software.
- Observe and contribute to workflow and process improvement initiatives.
- Maintain hygiene and food safety standards as per company and regulatory requirements.
- Perform ad-hoc duties or support the Head Chef in kitchen management tasks.
