Job Description

The successful candidate will join the Singapore team working with teams in Hong Kong and Beijing across the wider business, and should be available for at minimum the duration of one month. The environment at Finsbury is dynamic and there will be opportunities for career development through involvement in a wide variety of projects and clients.

Typical initial duties will involve
• News monitoring & press summaries
• Research and analysis for current clients and new business opportunities
• Develop content – news angle, writing of speeches, and other editorial opportunities
• Assist with the preparation of materials –presentations, press kits, media list, communications plans
• Provide general logistical support

Necessary attributes
• Strong academic record with strong written and oral communication skills
• Demonstrable interest and understanding of business environment and current affairs
• Enthusiastic team player
• Hard working, adaptable, independent and proactive
• Good attention to details, efficient, takes ownership, trusted to deliver to deadline
• Responsible, trusted to work with confidential information
• Able to build strong relationships and to command the confidence of others both internally and externally
• Continually seeks to broaden knowledge and contact base; looks to share insights
• Preferably with 1 year of PR agency/ in-house experience
• Financial literacy and/or knowledge of capital markets and financial industry is advantageous
