About you personally
- You are out-going, creative, resourceful and able to problem-solve and have good project management skills
- You are not afraid to tackle tasks independently, however “collaboration” is your middle name
- You have a positive attitude and regularly push your comfort zone to stretch and improve yourself and your work
- You are able to deal with ambiguity
- You have some knowledge of assessment tools (eg. MBTI, Hogan, Insights, HBDI etc)

Key areas of expertise / Responsibilities
The Global Learning & Development Intern will be based in Singapore and support the People Development team in creating and scaling formal and informal learning and training programs for employees in Essilor. You will have the opportunity to be involved with several of Essilor’s learning and development efforts including instructor-led training, online course development, simulations, and gamification.
- Analyze industry training providers and come up with proposals to match them to our business needs
- Assist in the design and organization of our training programs to improve employee performance and ensure organizational productivity
- Develop and implement new training materials such as manuals, training videos and slide show presentations
- Conducting surveys – measuring effectiveness of our digital learning tools through post- program evaluations
- Assist in logistics set up of in-house training programs and administration
- Participate in other ad-hoc projects, as assigned
