Job Description

Mission

The Junior IT Support is accountable for coordinating and supporting service requests from end users, in collaboration with the IT support team. He/She must also ensure that the IT infrastructure, Audio and Video, IP telephony and security administration systems and technical installations are in good condition.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Level 1 on-site and remote technical support
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in Windows and MAC environments
• Hardware & software support and troubleshooting; virus monitoring and rectification

 • Support Apple, Microsoft, business and third party applications

• Participate in the testing and deployment of Windows desktop images

• IT administration (inventory, follow-up of licenses, application updates, ...)

• Perform PC replacement/upgrade while ensuring that the transition is smooth for the end user

• Log all support requests in our ticketing system, maintain accurate and up-to-date notes in all tickets

• Review open tickets daily, promptly following up on tickets that have been updated by the customer

• Escalate issues or concerns to management when appropriate

• Installation, maintenance and support of desktops, laptops, servers, networking gear and printers.

• Prepare and support classes, meetings, and video conferences
