Envision Digital International Pte Ltd – Business Analyst (Renewable Energy) Intern

Roles and Responsibilities:

We are seeking a candidate with technical background in solar PV, wind and storage to join a fast growing team in digitalization of renewable energy and energy IoT at Envision Digital Singapore HQ office. You will work closely with a global team of talented renewable veterans and cross-functional teams, and given the responsibilities of customers engagement, technical support during project solutioning and delivery.

• Assist in Project Management in the following areas: renewables project data review (technical information and drawings), data exploratory analyses and transformation (historical data processing and ingestion), Project Management, timeline and deliverables monitoring;
• Understand customer’s renewable assets and data connectivity requirements, work out the suitable solution architecture to enable real-time monitoring;
• Understand data requirements to enable analytics project delivery (key data parameters and interdependencies);
• Support sales and marketing activities (pre and post sales), assist in the engagement with current and potential customers, solar asset owners, developers, EPC and O&M companies in the APAC region;
• Act as subject matter expert to support renewables projects and solutioning, such as solar, wind, solar + battery storage, smart grid, etc.
• Generate product insights based on customer feedback, identify product feature requests and pain points for continuous enhancement and refinement of existing products, assist in investigation of issues and edge cases and help with developing new analytics methods and tools; 

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in physical science or engineering degrees with strong emphasis on solar or renewable energy preferred;
• Knowledge in PV system technologies, solar farm design, monitoring and control, operation and maintenance, performance modeling, and/or performance engineering and analytics are highly desirable;
• Acquainted with data communication protocols, IoT and IT; DCS and/or SCADA experience is an advantage;
• Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment and in matrix organizations,
• Strong communications skills and demonstrated experience in communicating and operating within a multinational corporation and engaging with audiences at different levels. Ability to bridge language and cultural barriers.
