We invest in the world’s best computer scientists, engineers and researchers and help them build deep tech companies from scratch, even before they have a team or a concrete idea. The companies we’ve built over the last four years are worth over SGD$1,000,000,000 today.
We’re growing fast and scaling our global operations to become the world’s leading institution for company-building. In order to do so, we want to make EF accessible for the best technical talent regardless of their geography. As part of the Expansion Team in Singapore, you’ll be responsible for helping us understand talent and ambitions in multiple geographies.
What You Will Learn
- Get a unique and in-depth insight into what makes great founders, what drives the early stage of deep tech companies and how venture capital works. Be prepared for either building your own startup in the future or working for one.
- Your development matters to EF. Get training, mentoring and feedback from the beginning of your internship. They will help draw out this development from the start, then adapt it along the way if necessary.
- Get to meet and work with all relevant parties involved in commercializing research from up-and-coming fields such as artificial intelligence, robotics, and laser communications. EF has a very large, credible network who they’d be willing to introduce you to. This includes some of the world’s top startup founders, investors, and officials.
- Develop valuable insights into the emerging tech ecosystems across the world, from Tel Aviv to Beijing to Toronto. You will speak to leading researchers, startup founders and investors from these regions.

- Business trips: Plan and coordinate business trips to understand the world’s most exciting tech ecosystems. You will directly own and shape the outcomes of these trips.
