1.To assist project consultants in establishing and implementing the internationally acclaimed management systems such as OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management, ISO 14001 Environmental Management and ISO 13485 / ISO 9001 Quality Management, in the engineering related Industries. ISO 22000 HACCP system as well as to a wide Industrial exposure sectors including : Professional , F&B , Environmental Management , Manufacturing , Construction , Services .

2.To assist project engineer/consultants in conducting nationally recognized  courses such as WSQ Problem Solving & Decision Making; WSQ Communicate & Relate effectively at workplace ;  WSQ Service Excellence Courses  , Behavioural safety , WSQ  Demonstrate the Service Vision, WSQ Personal Effectiveness , WSQ  Developing Innovative & Enterprising Behaviour, etc.

3.To be involved in Human Resource consulting assignment in ( such as ) Singapore Quality class and Innovation class.

4.To acquire the competency skills on Internal Audit, assist in the conduct of audits, and in the preparation of clients for external certification audit. 

5. To be involved in Business Diagnosis and Measurement Project and crafting Roadmaps for SMEs to improve their productivity.  Analyse, identify strengths & weaknesses and propose solutions. Menu Engineering.

Objectives of Internship: 

1. To acquire industrial insight and skills in regional engineering and consulting industries.

 2. To gain insight and skills in regional engineering and consulting practices in specific practices in Quality, Safety, Environment and Business Continuity. The internationally recognized engineering and management systems include:

* ISO22301: Business Continuity Management System

* OHSAS 18001: Occupational Health and Safety Management System

* ISO 14001: Environmental Management System

* HACCP: Food Safety Management System

* ISO 13485 / ISO 9001 Quality / Productivity Management System

Key Benefits:

1. Students will have the hands on industrial experience in what they learned in EE9107 Environmental Health and Safety Management module under the close guidance of an engineer / consultant. Assisting project engineer /consultants in implementing the internationally acclaimed management systems such as:

· OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management system for our clients involving chemical related industries, such as chemical technology in material surface treatment , technology related manufacturing of IT product, supply chain management of chemical to name a few .

The OHSAS 18001 Health and Safety Management system covers risk assessments and investigation, fire prevention, incidents investigation etc.

Note; past interns shared that they had learnt tremendous industrial skills working with our team of consultants related to their course of studies.

· ISO 14001 Environment Management Systems for our clients involving the engineering related industries. Students will have the hands on industrial experience in what they learned in ESE5601 Environmental Risk Assessment.

Our past interns were excited to learn about and to be involved in environment risk assessments and investigation, environmental impact and aspects, incidents investigation, emergency preparedness etc. Research into sustainability projects involving the LEEDS, BCA Green Marks and energy audit.

2. Students will have the hand on industrial experience in what they learned in related to their course of studies in FST3102 module under the close guidance of a team of certified trainers. Students will be given the opportunity to attain competency in enhancing Food Safety Management. Students will be involved in the research & development of internationally recognized engineering related industries related courses.

     There will be opportunity to attend & assist to conduct nationally recognized pedagogical courses such as WSQ Problem Solving & Decision Making; WSQ Teamwork and communication; WSQ Leadership skills , Motivational skills , WSQ Service Excellence , Behavioral safety , WSQ Customer Intelligence , WSQ Leading a team , WSQ Developing Service excellence etc.

3. Productivity and Innovation in the engineering related Industries

· Students will be involved in the research & development of Productivity and Innovation in managing capacity, smoothening demand and quality of chemical and other industries.

· The deployment of latest state of art in communication, promotion and publicity

4. To acquire insights and consulting skills and be involved in the marketing of Eben`s consulting packages. To acquire the competency skills on Internal Audit, assist in the conduct of audits, and in the preparation of clients for external certification audit.

16Years mentoring experience: Since 2000  we have more than 16 years experience mentoring many batches of NUS/NTU engineering students. Many of the students have since testified that they had learnt tremendous industrial skills from working with our team of consultants related to their course of studies.

Training provided: a three day structured training program on the above systems, as well as on the overview and operations of the consulting firm.
