Dulwich College Singapore is an international school located in Singapore, which opened in 2014. As a branch of Dulwich College International, it offers a comprehensive programme for students aged 2 to 18 and is separated into three schools: DUCKS, Junior School and Senior School.
Dulwich College (Singapore) is recruiting an Events & Marketing Assistant to join its Marketing Department.
The post holder will:
- Assist the Events and Projects Officer with pre-event planning including liaising with suppliers and vendors such as the onsite caterer, ICT and AV teams, operations, security, and academic staff;
- Assist with events logistics on the day of the event. Working with the onsite operations and security teams and caterers to ensure correct set up and execution of the event;
- Provide administrative support associated with both internal and external events;
- Liaise with the communications team to make sure all Communications channels are regularly updated in terms of upcoming events;
- Produce event collateral and signage;
- Coordinate the event registrations, managing attendee lists and communications to events attendees;
- Manage the annual events calendar;
- Assist with management of ad hoc special marketing projects throughout the course of the academic year such as photoshoots for ads, website updates, community outreach projects;
- Assist with the development of the Holiday Camps programme;
- Assist with the planning of logistics, administration, and operations of projects;
- Assist with planning biannual student and staff professional photography shoot in terms of managing the external provider, the onsite process and post event process;
- Manage College facilities rental;
- Update marketing collateral such as banners, honours boards, posters etc.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A degree, diploma or professional qualification in business, marketing or other relevant discipline, or equivalent;
- Experience of organising and support events;
- Excellent organisational skills, and the ability to collaborate across the organisation;
- Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing;
- Outstanding customer service skills, and an attitude of ‘going the extra mile’ to meet customer needs and expectations;
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure to meet agreed deadlines and goals;
- Strong IT skills in using Microsoft Office;
- Flexible approach to work, and the ability to be agile in the requirements of planning and delivering events.
