Job Description

The intern(s) is responsible in providing effective support to the Sales Team, Singapore Country Office and works directly with the Head of Sales. Key activities to be done during this internship are:

  • Handle tasks relating to Sales Analytics such as monitoring customers and prospects, sales trends.
  • Work on process optimization with China based customers
  • Assist the Sales Team in Operational Improvement initiatives with customers

The intern will require communicating effectively with stakeholders within departments, and also requires providing effective liaison and coordination with external contacts (where appropriate). 

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  1. Handle daily administrative tasks to ensure maximum business efficiency, i.e. update and maintain data/information received, assumptions/logics applied in the event of creating the final output.

  2. Research and analyze sales activities, identify key trends and generate actionable information.

  3. Turn raw data into value-added information and reports that will improve account performance, sales, and market understanding

  4. Monitor news and developments relating to, or impacting, key customers/prospects.

  5. Understands our wide ranging product solutions by participating in meetings (when required) to increase overall awareness of products, and go-to-market strategies.

  6. Assist in the identification and analysis of sales issues and market opportunities.

  7. Assist with the execution of monthly and quarterly reports and business reviews.

  8. Provide ad-hoc support and analysis as needed.

  9. Facilitate the distribution of performance results and insights.

  10. Prioritize activity in accordance with Sales coverage needs.

  11. To plan, develop and implement the best approach in exercising the goal based on a sound analytical process with a commercially viable result s for China based customers.

  12. To prepare internal and external professional business presentations when required.
