JOB DESCRIPTION
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Corporate B2B telesales, contacting existing & prospect clients about new training events, products and services. Creating first class proposals and closing them in an agreed timeframe. Source relevant contacts within data centres, IT and facilities management and operations. Add them to the CRM system and send relevant marketing material to them. Implement team campaigns as instructed, managed end-to-end client relationships and provide feedback.
- Actively researching and understanding the training focus and career progression framework which you are promoting to keep clients and fellow staff informed of news and relevant developments within the Data Centre Market.
- Communicating with potential students explaining how the career progression framework and the benefits of attendance at DCPro training events can assist those working in the data centre and information technology mission critical industry.
- Communicating internally with the delegate sales team.
- Pitching to clients and leads in a bespoke manner, ensuring that you are persistent and provide a high level of customer service at all times.
- Ensuring that all proposals, leads and contacts are followed up in a timely manner and to completion.
- Maintaining the company CRM system; ensuring that all information is accurate and relevant and recording all activity. Booking people on to relevant training events and confirming registrations.
- Working closely with finance team to ensure all payments are made prior to attendance at training events.
- Implement team campaigns undertaking market research as instructed by the general manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Corporate telesales and telemarketing experience; ideally business to business.
- The ability to close a complex sale
- A sound knowledge of the data center space
- With some relevant experience connected to it, possibly a similar type of knowledge enhanced base product
- The ability to understand and actively promote longer selling cycle training products
- A team player with a go get – can do attitude
- High standard of intrapersonal skills, professional confidence and tenacity.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient computer skills: Microsoft Office, CRM and databases.
- Excellent communication - both verbal and written.
- Fluent in required language.
OTHER INFORMATION
SUMMARY
Working as a member of the corporate training sales team you will be involved in all aspects of acquisition and sales, including sourcing new corporate clients, building existing industry relationships and maintaining data in the CRM.
You will be involved in corporate B2B telesales, cross selling and up-selling client on the DCPro portfolio of training products and services – online, per seat classroom and in house corporate.
The job will require working onsite at DCD training locations. This role involves end-to-end client management including: telesales, complex proposal creation, order closing, record keeping, invoicing, client facing events, resolving client issues, documentation, and database use.
