POSITION OVERVIEW
The Asia Pacific QFS Supplier Development team works closely with and is part of, Danone's SRC or Purchasing Organsation. It's function is to ensure suppliers to Danone are of appropriate calibre from a Quality and Food Safety (QFS) perspective to supply ingredients and packaging to our sensitive Early Life Nutrition Division. In addition to approving suitability for supply from a QFS perspective, the team also works closely with commercial colleagues to help develop and educate suppliers to better align with our needs. The team's role is primarily focussed on suppliers to Danone's ASPAC Early Life Nutrition Division.
An intern is being sought to provide administrative support to the team.
The role - ASPAC Supplier Development Assistant, is based in Danone's Singapore Regional Office and reports to the Supplier Development Manager - Asia Pacific.
MAIN DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS
Developing and maintaining Supplier related data records and documentation
Assisting in the further development of QFS audit guidelines and checklists
Organising audits and required audit documentation directly with Ingredient and Packaging Suppliers
Assist as required in Singapore based Supplier audits
Secretarial duties for Supplier QFS Development Team Meetings
Collection and analysis of data
Coordinating ASPAC supplier contaminant and residue testing in conjunction with Danone Factory Supply Points
Assisting in the follow up and resolution of supplier related issues and complaints
Preparation and presentation of various Management Reports
SKILLS REQUIRED
Fluent English (written and verbal)
Good communication and presentation skills
Logical, clear thinker
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially in Excel and Powerpoint)
Well organised and good attention to detail
High degree of autonomy and self motivation
Team player who fosters good will and respect in the immediate and greater team environment
Science background preferred
