Daiwa Capital Markets Singapore Limited – Investment Banking Internship

• Market research on assigned industries/sectors and identify key players in the sectors
• Analysis of business strategies, revenue and costs models, competitive strategies, competitive landscape, analysis of market positions
• Preparation of pitch books with guidance from experienced bankers
• Analysis of business models, financial statements such as cash flow statements, income statements and balance sheets, financial ratios, leverage ratios etc.
• Valuation of companies, including comparable analysis, precedent transaction analysis, discounted cash flows, computation of weighted average cost of capital, adjustments and normalization, sensitivity and scenario analysis

Requirements:

• Expected second-upper and above honours qualifications (or equivalent) Second-year and above undergraduates with business/accountancy/economics/banking/finance specialisations are preferred
• Knowledge of financial modelling and stock valuation
• Strong analytical skills with experience in using data platforms such as Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters, etc.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Powerpoint and Excel
