Job Description

The Corporate Communications team in Daimler Financial Services AAP plays a key role in keeping our regional colleagues engaged, inspired and connected and in managing the external affairs of the company. It drives regional communications topics and initiatives for 11 markets in Africa and Asia Pacific.

As part of the team, you will gain exposure to working in a global multinational company and supporting important communication topics for the region. You will also be involved in developing engaging content, assisting with the organization of regional and local events and supporting initiatives to drive corporate culture. In this role, You’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Work on diverse local and regional communications topics including employee engagement, diversity, corporate social responsibility, digital communications.

  • Be involved in the preparation and execution of key local and regional events and conferences including teambuilding and other social and cultural activities.

  • Assist with organizing corporate social responsibility initiatives for the office.

  • Prepare internal communication materials – including researching and writing Intranet and newsletter articles

  • Develop creative and engaging marketing communications materials and multimedia content for key internal initiatives including infographics and digital media.

  • Act as a communications support liaison with regional and global stakeholders and provide support for corporate and online communications topics as required.

•Intermediate - Advance skills in MS Office applications e.g. PowerPoint, Excel
•Added advantage: basic skills in Photoshop, Content Management System(s)
