Job Description

Are you a social media enthusiast with a passion for creating engaging digital content? If you have a knack for storytelling through social platforms and an eye for digital trends, we have the perfect internship opportunity for you! We're seeking a Social Media Marketing Intern to join our dynamic team at Creative For More. You'll have the opportunity to work on exciting campaigns, develop your skills, and contribute to strategies that drive brand awareness and business growth.

What you will get to learn

  • You will gain insight into how we develop and execute social media strategies for various touchpoints in the consumer journey
  • You'll receive hands-on experience in content planning, community management, and analytics for clients across diverse industries
  • After this contractual period, you will receive a recommendation letter - and - there is a good chance to convert to a full-time role after six months (3 months, if we really like your work and drive wink)

Responsibilities

  • Think strategically and develop engaging social media content concepts
  • Work collaboratively with the project manager to help manage clients' expectations of deliverables
  • Produce high-quality social media content for various platforms
  • Monitor campaign performance and suggest improvements
  • Assist team with content creation and client meetings

What you will be doing

  • Creating and scheduling content for social media platforms including:
    • Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter posts
    • Social media stories and reels
    • Community management and engagement
    • Hashtag research and implementation
  • Assisting our managers in planning and executing social media calendars
  • Researching social media trends and helping develop platform-specific strategies
  • Analyzing social media metrics and preparing performance reports
  • Collaborating with designers on visual content creation

Who we are looking for

  • Someone who is active across social media platforms
  • Experienced using tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, or other social media management platforms
  • Enthusiastic, proactive self-starter, and a strong team player
  • Proficient with the use of various digital marketing and analytics tools
  • Someone with a good command of English
  • Experience with basic design tools like Canva is a plus
  • Knowledge of photography/videography basics is beneficial
  • Team player and a fast, adaptable learner

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Previous experience managing personal or professional social media accounts
  • Understanding of social media best practices and trends
  • Good writing and communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of social media analytics
