Job Scope
- Lead an ongoing ideation process for new story identification through suggestions (e.g. soliciting pitches, generating story ideas) and informed by social / search data
- Help our clients to develop and execute content marketing initiatives on major platforms
- Enforcing tone, style, and editorial best practices with creators
- Produce, curate and manage/guide the creation of articles, videos, infographics, slideshows, and a variety of other content types
- Assist with other projects for copy, graphic, and calendar creation across all channels
- Liaise and manage client expectations
- Proofreading/Editing/Fact Checking of creators’ works
- Modify content created for repurpose on various social platforms
- Managing an editorial calendar by communicating with internal stakeholders, writers, designers and vendors
- Operate a predictable and manageable workflow, meeting the needs and expectations of various stakeholders
- Identify and vet content creators from Content.co’s network
- Monitor clients’ social media channels, initiate conversations with and respond to community comments referencing established brand and community guidelines within a timely manner
- Develop Content.co's community strategy including content marketing, PR, events and social media
Skills Required
- Ability to develop strong relationships with colleagues, internal / external clients and vendors
- Familiarity with industry standard applications
- Great editorial eye, a gift for project management, and the ability to adapt and respond in a fast-paced content marketing environment
- Process improvement and organization skills
- Good communication, analytical and conceptual skills
- Comfort in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Take initiative to identify critical problems and solve them
Plus Points:
- Previous editorial related experience
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator
Commitment Period: A minimum of 5 months from August to December. Period of internship is negotiable.
