POSITION SUMMARY:
The FATCA Intern will assist with performing the due diligence / remediation and reporting on clients and financial counterparties of CLSA, covering both domestic and international client accounts. The position will be located in Singapore.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:
• Review the draft docs uploaded in Goldtier, we will provide checklist, and this person would then also help resolve simple cases, leave the complex ones to our team
• Match-off the FATCA data in Goldtier versus identity
• Review FATCA setups versus updated AML/KYC setups/ retriggers using checklist and help to resolve simple cases
• Review US indicia for all clients as per our checklist, and identify the positive hits, potential hits, and information gaps
• Update all CLSA entity documentation in Goldtier and Identity and on CLSA Website as per new W8 templates released by IRS
• Complete the KRM reviews for some high value clients
• Prepare 2 skeleton audit reports for each country
REQUIREMENTS
• Diploma or Degree in relevant field
• High level of Mandarin proficiency
• Good communication skills (verbal and written) are a must-have
• Good understanding of FATCA and CRS regulations is an advantage
• Knowledge of products and services offered by CLSA to clients is desirable
• Attention to detail and process oriented
• Good Analytical skill and able to work independently in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications e.g. MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point.
• Good prioritization, organisational and multi-tasking skills
• Desire to be challenged and learn
