As a Data Analyst Intern, you will assist in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to help us optimize event planning, marketing efforts, and visitor engagement. This role offers hands-on exposure to real-time data from exhibitions, including visitor demographics, ticketing data, exhibitor interactions, and more.
Responsibilities
- Assist in gathering, cleaning, and organizing large datasets from various sources
- Comfortable in writing scripts using spyder to compile large ticket sets
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover trends, patterns, and insights
- Create dashboards and visualizations using tools like Power BI
- Generate and maintain regular reports for internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, and engineering
- Document methodologies and maintain data dictionaries for data warehousing
Requirements
- A degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field
- Familiar with SQL, Excel, and at least one data analysis language (e.g., Python, R)
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, or similar)
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to present findings clearly
- Passion for working with data and solving business problems
