Chirpey – Community Manager

Hey there, we are looking for community managers to strengthen our female travel community and promote our women travel application, Chirpey. 

We feel that there is no easy way for women travellers to provide support for one another. We decided to create a women travel application to empower female travellers.

The complete version of our application would have features that allow female travellers to:

1. Share resources and advice
2. Meet and travel with other women
3. Receive support from other communities

Our application is still in testing phase, so not all the features are implemented (only feature no. 2 is ready for action).

We want to invite female travellers to test our application and provide any feedback that they have. We also want to show that travelling can be fun and making new friends makes the experience even more memorable.

Even though our application has a serious/formal tone, we do not expect community leaders to be formal/serious. We want you to be your natural self, love the adventure and embrace your inner wanderlust with our members.

Responsibilities

We are looking for enthusiastic and highly energetic people to join us! You would work with our marketing team and take part in the following fun tasks:

• Create flocks (our term for groups) with interesting itineraries and play host to your flock participants - your flock participants are mostly foreigners looking for travel advice and recommendations
• Promote our brand and share our company mission with women travellers
• Have a good time!

Requirements

We expect social and communication skills from our community managers. At Chirpey, we value ideas from everyone, so don’t be afraid to voice out..As long as you have the following traits, we want you!

• Motivated
• Fluent in spoken English
• Able to adapt to change
• Enjoy talking to people
• Prior event management experience is a huge plus
• Humour is an additional plus
