Job Description
Duties and responsibilities for Technical Support Officer
- Under direction, identifies species of mosquitos, tabulates, summarizes and records results of identification and numbers for use in directing control activities; including other related work such as data entry and report preparation.
- Follow existing systems and documentation as per stipulated processes
- Assist in separating and collating mosquitos’ samples for further testing as and when required
- Ability to prepare clear and informative reports, including but not limited to: weekly/monthly reports
- Ability to make appropriate references and deductions for purposes of management reporting
- Ability to design charts and graphs from raw data
- Ability to utilise various types of electronic and/or manual recording and information systems used by the office
- Ability to withstand long hours of work on a microscope
- Conduct daily basic cleaning for equipment to ensure operation ability
- Any other ad-hoc or operational matters as required
