Based in our Singapore HQ, our Campaigns & Onsite Marketing team oversees campaigns, content generation, onsite merchandising, and customer retention across the 3 markets we are in (SG, AU, US).
To achieve revenue targets, the role of the Copywriting Intern supports the team in executing compelling content and marketing communications via an array of touchpoints, including onsite banners, landing pages, product listings, social and Google ads, and content and promotional copies. Your responsibilities are listed below.
- Write original and compelling copy across a range of touchpoints, including product listings, ad and promotional copies.
- Prepare content for monthly marketing calendar.
- Research on competitors to identify their key talking points, from content angles to the way they position their products around categories and seasons.
- Contribute ideas to drive onsite or ad engagements.
- Collaborate with the team from concept development to final delivery.
- Ensure consistency through tone of voice across all touchpoints.
- Amend, revise or redevelop copy based on feedback from the team.
- Perform additional duties and help with other projects assigned by the manager.
Requirements
Must-have
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Mass Communications or other related fields. This is a full-time internship (40 hours/week, min. 6 months commitment).
- A strong command in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to write with clarity and creativity, with a sharp eye for language, flow and grammar.
- Possess high attention to detail required to proofread copy.
- Self-motivated, resourceful and adaptable to working independently as well as cross-functionally.
- Interest and knowledge of digital marketing platform (Facebook Ads, Google Ads, etc) is a bonus.
- Self-starter with the ability to take ownership of and creatively approaches tasks assigned.
- Customer-first mindset.
Nice-to-Have
- Knowledge of regional/global markets, especially in the US.
- Ability to coordinate with other teams and work cross-functionally when required.
