Carat 55 – Social Media Creative Intern

Carat 55 is looking for a social media / content creator intern to help us manage our online presence. This position is ideal for those who are organized, creative and who have prior experience in photography, graphic design and video creation.
Role & Responsibilities
• Help monitor and manage the company's social media accounts

• Assist with the execution of our social media content creation - photography, photo editing, video editing

• Assist with the company's influencer marketing efforts - monitoring current influencers and helping with outreach efforts to influencers

• Offline assistance with the team for shows or events, if any

Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication, strong editing skills

• Knowledge of photo or video editing software (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) or other graphic design software, etc. is a major plus

• Knowledge of social media – Facebook, Instagram, YouTube

• Willingness to create content for blogs, write press releases, and Facebook posts daily

• Energy, with a desire to come up with fresh ideas on how to grow our online presence

• Ability to identify a target market and “speak” to that consumer through social media

This internship will be 3 months long and open to extension.

Interns will work approximately 40 hours a week, Tuesdays - Saturdays.

We are looking for an intern to join the design and social media team. You will be creating both creative contents for our social media channels, as well as documenting our events and projects.
