Caber works with a network of partner firms globally and advises a discrete set of clients on strategic decisions such as mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations and restructurings and other finance matters, with a particular focus on financial technology investments and the regulatory implications of transactions.

The Caber team is relatively compact and candidates will be expected to perform a wide variety of tasks and show a lot of initiative – on both of Caber’s Corporate Finance Advisory and Private investment businesses.

Job Description


Corporate Finance Advisory

  • Build detailed financial models and perform financial and valuation analyses
  • Be involved end to end of the transaction, from pitch phase through to closing
  • Produce marketing materials and other documentation including pitches, management presentations, valuation papers and prospectus documentation
  • Significant client interaction involved

Private Investments

  • Identify, meet and screen companies for potential investments
  • Conduct due diligence on companies and market research on technology sub-sectors and industry landscapes
  • Perform valuation and returns analyses to support investment decisions

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Good tertiary education from well-recognized university
  • In the process of attaining the CFA / ACCA / CPA / CAIA charter

Preferred Skills

  • Corporate Finance and M&A experiences gained within a Bank or boutique M&A firm
  • Strong financial modeling skills; Advanced Microsoft skills, particularly in PowerPoint and Excel
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Uphold values of integrity, discipline, commitment and teamwork
