We work regionally providing architecture, interiors and industrial design services, and our current work focuses on very high-end interior residential and hospitality design, consisting of interior architectural design, custom millwork and carpentry design, international furniture sourcing, and interior furnishing.

MARKETING & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT INTERNSHIP

Brewin Design Office is looking for a Marketing & Business Development Intern to support our Business Development team. This role will be based in our Singapore office for a period of 3-6 months commencing September 2019, depending on the suitable intern’s availability.
Brewin Design Office is an architecture and interior design firm based between Singapore and Hong Kong. We work regionally providing architecture, interior design and industrial design services to Real Estate Developers, Hospitality Owners & Operators, Cultural Institutions, and other private clients, and our current work focuses on projects within Singapore, Hong Kong, China and Indonesia.
While our main business is design for corporate, hospitality and real estate developers, Marketing is a core support function where, among other things, we research new markets and ideas, and strategise new ideas for building the business.
The Marketing Intern will work closely with the firm’s Directors on a broad spectrum of work and will gain exposure to all fronts of running a service-related business.
Core Responsibilities:
- Marketing
- Business Development
- Ad-Hoc
- Copywriting
- Drafting press releases and updating journalists on new projects/activities
- Updating website and social media
- Assisting to edit portfolios, presentations and other company collateral
- Keeping track of awards and assisting with awards submissions
- Researching potential clients and business partners
- Researching new related business concepts and ideas
- Maintaining and updating contact lists, and strategizing how to continue to engage contacts
- Keeping track of various BD portals for tender opportunities
- Keeping track of various competition portals for relevant competitions
- Consultant Directory registrations
- Administrative tasks such as liaising with printers and vendors
- Other ad-hoc work as assigned
You will be perfect for this role if:
- You are working towards a BBA, BBM or Masters
- You are naturally curious about the way things work and why

- You have an excellent command of spoken and written English

- You are familiar with Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint. Familiarity with Excel VBA and Adobe InDesign is a bonus.

This internship will be a great opportunity for very hands-on experience with all things from planning and strategizing to research, writing, development of materials and collateral, to digital marketing, and would provide great exposure to the real estate and design industry in Asia.
