Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Perform incoming and outgoing QC inspection
  • Prepare and maintain QA inspection reports
  • Conduct First Article inspections (FAI) on samples and documentation
  • Perform inspections accordance to product specification
  • Ensure products meet industry standards, regulatory requirements and company specifications
  • Support ISO and Quality Certifications
  • Verify Non-Conforming Goods
  • Collaborate with engineering team to resolve quality problems
  • Participate in Root Cause Analysis and implement corrective/ preventive actions (CAPA)
  • Create Work Instructions (WI) and Control plans
  • Participate in Material Review Board (MRB) Meetings (as required)
  • Assist in Disposition activities
  • Maintain Quality documentations (DMRs, FAIRs, IOIRs, COCs and Customer Drawings)
  • Ensure Calibration and Maintenance of Equipment
  • Report and Coordinate Equipment Repairs
  • Support additional tasks as assigned

    Requirements
    • Minimum NITEC / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline
    • At least one (1) year of relevant experience in QA, QC or SQE environments. Fresh diploma graduates may be considered.
    • Prior experience in quality operations, including measurements and inspection processes is advantageous
    • Familiar with sampling plans and quality inspection procedures
    • Proficient in using Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Pin Gauges and Height Gauges
    • Able to read and interpret technical and engineering drawings accurately
    • Competent in Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Word, Excel etc).
    • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks is advantageous
    • Willingness to learn and adapt to software platforms, such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 and iGrafx
    • Team player with good communication and collaboration skills
