Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for somebody Absolutely Awesome to learn how to help our eCommerce clients get more sales and revenue. Eventually once you’re fully trained, you’ll have an opportunity to come on board as a full-time eCommerce Strategist for our consultancy.
We help clients launch new eCommerce brands, as well as take 6 figure brands to 7 figures.
Our clients are primarily in the US market at the moment.
What You Will Be Doing
You will be learning how to buy media and optimize eCommerce websites to help our clients to get more revenue and sales.
Initially as an intern, you'll be assisting our eCommerce Strategists.
However, if you do well, you'll have the opportunity to transition to a full-time position when you graduate where you'll take charge of the campaigns for our clients.
As part of this internship, you will learn how to:
- Put together effective eCommerce Facebook campaigns, Google Ads campaigns and other media buy campaigns from start to finish
- The secrets of SEO and how to get more organic traffic to eCommerce sites
- Write effective marketing copy for eCommerce sites
- Optimize eCommerce stores to improve revenue and sales
- Work with other members of our global team to deliver results for our clients
What You Need to Have
You should be interested in eCommerce and online shopping, and have an interest in online marketing.
The single most important trait for a eCommerce Marketing Strategist is Empathy - the ability to discern the nature of being of a website visitor, prospect or customer.
You should also:
- Be both creative and analytical
- Be savvy with technology and web applications in general
- Be familiar with social media
- Have a strong command of English (both written and spoken)
- Have a fast typing speed
- Be a quick learner
Knowledge of direct marketing, copywriting and web development/programming would be an advantage but not necessary.
Your attitude is more important than any skills, knowledge or education. We welcome applicants from any educational discipline and experience level.
