About BFT Kampong Ubi
BFT (Body Fit Training) Kampong Ubi is a high-performance group training studio offering science-backed, coach-led strength and conditioning workouts. We’re part of a global network, but proudly run like a local, community-first training space that helps members unlock their potential through consistency, accountability, and team spirit.
Role Overview
As our Community & Offline Activation Intern, you’ll work directly with the founder to build a deeper, tighter, and more energised member community. Your role will be hands-on, grassroots, and highly creative — activating the BFT brand in the physical world through pop-ups, events, and connection-based experiences both inside and outside the gym.
Key Responsibilities
1. Community Engagement (Internal)
Create and execute ideas that build deeper bonds between members (e.g., member shoutouts, birthday surprises, challenges, theme days).
Drive attendance and participation in gym events and social gatherings.
Assist in onboarding new members and making them feel part of the tribe from day one.
Work closely with the Club Manager to identify disengaged members and initiate personal reactivation campaigns.
2. Offline Brand Activations (External)
Plan and support on-ground marketing events like MRT pop-ups, referral drives, office outreach, and collab activations with local businesses.
Assist with logistics, setup, and operations of outdoor or in-club campaigns.
Be the “face” of BFT Kampong Ubi in external activations and help collect leads during such events.
Support follow-up processes with the sales and ops team after events.
3. Creative Input & Content Support
Collaborate with the content team to brainstorm member features, event coverage, or behind-the-scenes moments.
Capture community-oriented content from day-to-day life in the gym (with guidance).
Contribute ideas to our Telegram community, social media pages, and in-gym noticeboards.
4. Founder Support
Join weekly check-ins with the founder for planning and strategy sessions.
Participate in brainstorming future partnerships, collabs, or formats to bring the BFT brand to life.
Share feedback and learnings from ground-level engagement to influence strategy.
Who We’re Looking For
Fitness background required – you must either be pursuing or have experience in personal/group training, sports, or wellness.
Passion for community, creativity, and making people feel seen and included.
Hands-on personality – you enjoy setting things up, taking initiative, and jumping in.
Comfortable interacting with strangers, members, and potential partners.
Great communicator (in-person and digitally), with strong organisational skills.
You love the gym environment and naturally vibe with coaches, members, and sweat culture.
