Barre 2 Barre is a fitness studio founded by Karen Lim and Mylène Mackay in Hong Kong in 2012 that teaches the BarreAmped® method. The method is a combination of strength-training, dance, orthopedic back exercises, and Hatha yoga all rolled into an intense, hour-long mind-body workout. The exercise works out your entire body, starting from a warm up, followed by arm work, then thigh work, seat work, lower and upper abs (core work), back extension, and relaxation (including stretches).
Barre 2 Barre Singapore will be the first studio expansion outside of Hong Kong, teaching the same BarreAmped® method, licensed from the US. Founders Karen & Mylène will be working directly with Jessica to open the Singapore studio to ensure same level of quality and ambiance as the Hong Kong studio.
Barre 2 Barre Singapore was recently featured in Harpers Bazaar as a chic way to lose the weight without running and in Shape magazine as Most Comprehensive Barre Gym Class 2017.
The receptionist will be working directly with Jessica and administrative assistant Boey.
The job entails working with the studio’s booking system, answering questions that clients have about the studio, working with sponsors and retailers of the studio with inventory, price checks, and other relevant information, and helping the managers with administrative duties regarding the studio.
The receptionist must be on time, have a good sales attitude, excellent customer service, and know how to multi-task. As this is a start up, the receptionist must be flexible and adaptable to changing schedules and different tasks each day.
It is beneficial if the receptionist enjoys the fitness industry, a plus if he or she knows the barre method fitness already but not necessary, and willing to put a smile on his or her face every day and be a good salesperson with excellent customer service.
Working hours:
Fridays 8:30am-1:30pm
Saturdays 9am-11am
Sundays 9:45am-12:45pm
