AVM Capital – Business Development Intern

We are looking for a motivated individual who is keen to join our team and help us with our business development and marketing projects. The candidate is preferably a final year undergraduate or masters degree student in business or marketing. If the candidate performs well during the internship, he or she may be offered a full-time role. 

Regular / Daily Tasks:

1. Prepare pitchbook, fact sheet, newsletter and other marketing material
2. Work with IT vendor to update website with new material
3. Organise webinars and videos via Zoom and other online platforms.
4. Maintain database of investors and prospects and make sure follow up meetings are arranged.
5. Accompany Business Development Head on meetings with prospective investors.

Projects

1. Create a new pitchbook that is suitable for live presentations to a large audience
2. Create short video clips at month end which talk through the main points in our newsletter.
3. Work with Salesforce to create a CRM database.

Key Competencies 

1. Proficient with PowerPoint, Word and Excel, and has experience producing high quality pitchbooks/persentations
2. Familiar with web development and able to manage a website
3. Keen interest in Financial Markets and investing
4. Experience with coding in Python will be a plus.
