We are looking for a talented young front-end web developer – motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming – to join our dynamic software development team. Responsibilities include design and translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application.

You will work with different stakeholders within our company, taking on an active role in both design and technical implementation, and defining how the application looks and works. You can expect to work closely with the team to integrate your application with our web services in a robust and scalable manner.

Job Description

Scope

– Develop new user-facing features
– Build reusable code and libraries for future use
– Evaluate the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
– Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
– Design and manage user acceptance testing cases for application validations
– Communicate and collaborate with other team members and stakeholders


Requirements

– Candidate must possess a Diploma/Bachelor in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems – or similar. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
– Candidate must possess proficient understanding of the following: 

  1. Web markup (including HTML/HTML5, CSS), client-side scripting, and JavaScript frameworks (including jQuery)
  2. Cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
  3. Code versioning tools, such as Git/SVN

– Some knowledge in PHP programming is advantageous
–Basic knowledge of image authoring tools to perform small adjustments on an image (familiarity with tools such as Gimp or Photoshop is a plus)
–Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them
