Job Description

The Opportunity

The right candidate will be attached to a mentor (Design or Projects Director). After your internship and academic pursuits, we hope that you will be able to join us on a permanent basis.


What You Will Learn

You will see the whole project life-cycle, from the tender process right to the completion and handover.

You are encouraged to pick up real knowledge on architectural design, construction methods, project and client management to gain meaningful insight on the building industry.

This should help you analyse what sectors, type of roles and companies you will like to be in after your internship.


Job Description

Review Tender requests and opportunities, ie. Request for Tender / Quote (RFT & RFQ) and prepare documents for management team to price and cost project.

Prepare Contracts and Agreements.

Submissions of project documents before the commencement, ie. Risk Assessments (RA), Method Statements, Workers Lists, Site Logistics and Hoarding Plans, and Work Programs.

Submissions of compliance documents for construction to government agencies and building managements, Corenet QP & Non-QP Submissions, Security Approval Forms, Permit to Works (PTW).

Preparation of ongoing project documents, ie. Progress Meetings, Meeting Minutes, Shop Drawings, As Built Drawings.

Participate in meetings with Clients and Sub-contractors.

General Office Duties.

Working Days : Monday to Friday (9am to 6.00pm). There might be a need to work outside office hours when a project is running and requires work to be done after hours or on weekends. Necessary expenses for food and transport will be reimbursed upon Director’s approval.


Requirements

Basic computer literacy. AutoCAD, 3D Max skills will be highly valued.

You should be in a construction related academic programme or already have the relevant qualifications.
