Job Description

Understand and appreciate

  • Basics of general insurance and process of managing insurance (risk transfer) contracts
  • Insurance program design, implementation and servicing
  • Client’s risk and insurance requirements
  • Specialised risk and insurance resources within Aon
  • internal workflow

Experience life of risk and insurance advisor through

  • Attending client and insurer meetings
  • Participating in risk surveys, if any
  • Aon Broker’s Guide (ABG)

Placement support for account servicers

  • Compile comparison of renewal quotes from placement team/insurers
  • Receive, verify and communicate declarations to placement team/insurers

Management of Policies, Certificates of Insurance, Cover Notes, Endorsements

  • Verify accuracy of insurance documents including policy and endorsement
  • Ensure essential documents delivered to client (e.g. TOBA, Renewal Questionnaire)
  • Generate associated cover letters to clients
  • Get familiar with Aon billing form for invoice issuance

Management of Claims and Information

  • Manage claim statistics
  • Involve in claim handling/advocacy, if any

Document Administration

  • Filing and archiving of files
  • Scan documents
  • Arrange dispatch of documents

Other duties and projects assigned

Job Requirements

  • Undergraduates graduating between December 2018 and June 2019 preferred
  • Degree in any discipline, 2nd class honors or GPA 3.0 and above strongly preferred
  • Meticulous and able to multi-task
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work as an integral part of a team, fostering teamwork and cultivating relationships, as well as work independently or with minimal direction
  • Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
  • Critical and innovative thinking, problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Self- motivated and responsible
  • Adaptability – quick learner
