And Whyte – Content Creator (Internship)

We are looking for an all rounder content creator that is good with shooting videos and photos.  One that is able to assemble recorded footage into a finished project that matches director’s vision. You should be able to bring sight and sound together in order to tell a cohesive story.

Responsibilities

• Able to take a brief to grasp production needs and specifications
• Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes’ value and contribution to continuity
• Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximise efficiency
• Constantly improve image and video quality using various editing methods
• Use and maintain modern and traditional technical equipment (cameras, lenses etc)
• Arrange objects, scenes, lighting and background to adhere to specifications
• Direct participants
• Maintain an in depth understanding of photographic best practices and procedures
• Operates video / photo cameras, on location or in the studio, in the production of professional pre-recorded programming
• a keen eye for visual details and accuracy
• the resilience to perform under pressure and deliver high-quality work  to tight deadlines
• a good awareness of digital media and evolving online platforms
• an innovative approach to the media 

Requirements

• Know how to use editing software packages (Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator After Effects and Final Cut)
• Demonstrable video editing ability
• Creative mind and storytelling skills
• Ability to operate and maintain photo, audio and video equipments
• Ability to effectively manage time and schedules
