Allianz SE Reinsurance Branch Asia Pacific – Intern (Life & Health Reinsurance Solutions)

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in data verification and claims analysis.
• Assist in market intelligence and update market statistics and assumptions for pricing.
• Assist in treaty documents preparation.
• Assist the Life & Health Medical Underwriter in preparing presentation slides and reports.
• Involving in Life & Health business quotation and assisting in portfolio performance analysis and pricing.
• Support the company in organising and planning Corporate Responsibility events.
• Any other required duties, projects and tasks as assigned by the line manager or team members.

Key Requirements / Experience / Skills

• Able to commit for 6 months (January to June or July to December) for at least 3 days a week. Priority will be given to students who are able to commit for 6 months on a full-time basis.
• Currently working towards a university degree in a related field (Actuarial Science, Business, Economics, Finance etc.).
• Eligible to work in Singapore (Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident).
• Fluency in English is mandatory and fluency in other Asian languages is advantageous.
• Knowledge or prior experience in an insurance related company is advantageous.
• Strong desire to learn the ropes in preparation for a career in the insurance industry.
• Team player with strong service quality mind-set, adaptable, analytical, independent, meticulous, proactive, reliable, resilient, self-motivated, and willing to learn.
• Very strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
