During the internship period, you will be exposed to these areas :

Retail Selling: 

• Perform Selling-Approach customer-Identify customer needs
• Provide customer advising
• Promote products and services
• Handle customer objections
• Close a sale
• Perform upselling and cross selling 
• Obtain customer feedback

Retail Operations: 

• Receive merchandise
• Store merchandise
• Handle the stock replenishment
• Perform house keeping duties
• Carry out store opening and closing activities 
• Handle cash and non-cash payments
• Wrap and pack merchandise

Visual Merchandising 

• Assist to prepare merchandise and display area
• Maintain and refresh merchandise display

Store security:

• Perform simple risk management tasks to enhance store safety and security

Customer Service:

• Provide quality service (as defined by the company)
• Project professional image with appropriate dress code and display of courteous and respectful service
• Respond to customer enquires
• Attend to customer needs
• Assist to handle service breakdown or recovery

Requirements:

• Candidate must be currently pursuing at least a Diploma or Certificate in Retail Services or equivalent.
• 5 Internship position(s) for duration of 3 to 6 month(s).
