Job Description

Overview

Akamai Technologies is seeking a bright and dedicated HR Intern to support various HR Program and provide support to HR Business Partners, managers and employees. As part of the HR team work to ensure we provide the right level of support to our customers. Respond to questions that may be complex and require specialized knowledge of company programs, policies, and plans. This position is based in Singapore and supports employees in the APJ.


About the Team

As a member of the HR team with cross-functional groups including Business Partners, Compensation, Legal, Benefits, Finance and others to ensure employee and management needs are being met. This position reports to the Human Resource Business Partner.


Responsibilities


As a Human Resources Intern, you will be responsible for:

1)Onboarding

a. Insurance enrollment & new staffs education (benefits)

b. Organize new hire learning sessions

c. Educate manager on onboarding check list and toolbox preparation

2) Internal Communication

a. Maintain EAP with Human Dynamic

b. Education on internal communication tools and develop regional internal communication tools (i.e. organization chart)

3) Project support

a. Wellness program benchmark

b. Performance management data analysis, communication and project follow up

c. Other HR projects


Qualifications

•Currently pursuing a Bachelors, Masters or PhD in Business, Human resources management, psychology or other relevant field and returning to the program after completion of the internship.

•1+ years work/internship experience

•English/Chinese language capabilities

•Must currently be attending University in Singapore
